Oh So Simpatico!

Oh So Simpatico! Where like-minded lovers of the written word converge

Just Us Sistuhs! - Keepin' It Real!

Just Us Sistuhs! - Keepin' It Real! is a play that was written quite a few years ago. It began as simple dialogue between a group of women, and morphed into what it is today. Act I was selected as the 1st place entry in Clark-Atlanta University's Anual Creative Writing Competition - Community Drama Division. The following year, Act II received the same distinctive 1st place honors.

I offer for you now selected excerpts from my play, Just Us Sistuhs! - Keepin' It Real!  (Click on the images below to read the excerpts).

In this final excerpt, we find the women sitting around talking about a subject that would drive most any person -- man or woman -- up the wall: being stood up.
