Oh So Simpatico!

While most people know this, and it should normally go without saying, I will nonetheless put this in writing so that there is no misunderstanding:

Writing, as an art form, can be very subjective.  One person may love what I do, and the next person may loathe it.  While I do find it very complimentary when people take an interest in my writing, this creative endeavor is not without its moments of frustration, writer’s block, and just plain old bad writing.  A lot of time and effort goes into crafting a story, and I take great pride in the finished product.  Please do not strip me of this by pirating my work.  Piracy and plagiarism constitutes an illegal act … you don’t really want to commit such a heinous crime, do you?!?
