Oh So Simpatico!

Good news!  On November 27, 2006, I completed the NaNoWriMo challenge!  My final word count was 53,248 -- and I did it with 2 1/2 days to spare.  It was tough, especially given that the Thanksgiving holiday interrupted my flow, but I buckled down and typed like a mad woman during a 36-hour stretch.  "Courtship Calamity: The Misadventures of Melina Rose" now needs some TLC -- and perhaps one day you'll be seeing it on your local bookstore shelves.  But for now, I need a nap!  PHEW!!!
